Global Fire Solutions AU/NZ Warranty Statement

Voluntary Warranty Coverage

Global Fire Solutions AU/NZ warrants that its equipment is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, or the effective warranty period carried by the manufacturer. If a defect arises during the warranty period and is attributable to Global Fire Solutions AU/NZ, we will repair or replace the equipment or the defective component, subject to the conditions below.

Our obligation under this voluntary warranty is strictly limited to repairing or replacing equipment or parts that, upon inspection by Global Fire Solutions AU/NZ, are found to be defective due to our workmanship or materials.

Warranty Claim Requirements

To qualify for this warranty:

  • Alleged defective equipment must be returned to Global Fire Solutions AU/NZ at the address listed below, with transportation charges prepaid.
  • The return must occur within a reasonable time after discovery of the defect and no later than 30 days after the end of the warranty period.
  • Labour costs associated with removal, reinstallation, or repair will not be reimbursed unless prior written approval is provided by an authorised representative of Global Fire Solutions AU/NZ.

After examining the returned equipment, if we determine that a defect attributable to us exists, we will remedy the defect within a reasonable time.

Workmanship associated with non‑warranty repairs is covered for 90 days.

Replacement, Repair, or Refund

If a defect attributable to Global Fire Solutions AU/NZ is confirmed and replacement or repair is not commercially practicable or cannot be completed within a reasonable time, we may elect to refund the purchase price paid for the equipment, less reasonable depreciation. Before a refund is issued, the claimant must return the equipment free of liens or encumbrances.

Exclusions

This voluntary warranty does not apply where the defect or damage results from:

  • Misuse, neglect, or failure to perform reasonable maintenance
  • Accidents
  • Unauthorised repairs or alterations
  • Use of the equipment outside normal operating conditions

These circumstances release Global Fire Solutions AU/NZ from any obligations under this warranty.

Limitation of Liability (Voluntary Warranty Only)

To the extent permitted by law, Global Fire Solutions AU/NZ is not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from defective equipment covered by this voluntary warranty.
